Acacia

Purity and endurance of the soul
When meadows turn green in the spring, they are often surrounded by white flowering trees. Acacias can be recognized by their flowers, which resemble grapes. Although the correct name for acacia is robinia, this name is hardly known and therefore not usually used.
Acacia is a tree with about 1,300 species worldwide. It is highly valued by environmentalists because of the enormous amount of CO2 that this tree can absorb. It is very hard and best suited for home use.
Uses: for garden furniture, solid furniture, common furniture, stairs, doors, window frames, patios and in the tropical home also for building boats and buildings. Polished acacia wood can be used for parquet tiles or countertops. Whitewash from fast-growing species of acacia is also interesting for the paper industry.
