What things should not be washed in the dishwasher?

The dishwasher is very convenient for cleaning dishes, but there are some things that should not be washed in the dishwasher, as it can damage them. Here are some such items:

Wooden products: Wooden boards, hobs and other wooden utensils can crack or warp due to the heat and moisture in the dishwasher.
Cast iron cookware: Cast iron cookware can rust and lose its protective coating if washed in the dishwasher.
Crystal and hand-blown glass: These items are often sensitive to high temperatures and strong detergents, which can cause cracking or fogging.
Non-stick pans: The coating on non-stick pans can fade or become damaged over time due to strong detergents and high temperatures.
Soft plastic items: Some plastic items are not resistant to the heat of the dishwasher and may become deformed.
Copper, brass, and aluminum: These metal items may darken or discolor in the dishwasher.
Sharp blade: Knives with a sharp blade can lose their sharpness due to contact with other objects in the dishwasher.
Adhesive items: Items that have stickers or labels on them can come off in the dishwasher and clog the filter.
Enamel products: Enamel dishes and utensils can crack or chip due to extreme conditions in the dishwasher.
To maintain the quality and longevity of these items, it is best to hand wash them with a mild detergent and warm water.
