For the Celts, the oak was a protector, provider, king of trees. Oak is strongly connected to the earth and therefore easily flows life energy and directs it to the points where healing is needed. It helps us focus more easily on the goal and ignore distractions.
Due to the influence on our concentration, we can more easily achieve goals in the love and business spheres. Its balanced energy allows us to be calmer, easier to observe and listen to our intuition. It strengthens endurance, self-confidence, strength, authority…
The oak represented the world to the Slavs. The Slavs dedicated him to being the god of spring and vegetation. With its strong growth, mighty crown and hard wood, the oak has symbolized majesty, venerability and might since ancient times and is the most important tree in the mythology of old Europe.
Deciduous to evergreen, powerful trees that grow over 40 m tall. Its lifespan is over 1000 years.
Five different types of oaks are common in our forests: dob (Quercus robur), graden (Quercus petrea), downy oak (Quercus pubescens), cer (Quercus cerris), holm oak (Quercus ilex) and holm oak (Quercus crenata).
Oak wood is gray-yellow to yellow-brown in color, and its annual rings are clearly visible. Oak wood is classified as durable and is therefore considered particularly durable compared to other woods. Therefore, it can be used not only indoors, but also outdoors.
It is used for building ships (jambors), in carpentry, for furniture, in parquetry, construction, for making barrels.
